Debuting over 35 years ago as the lead vocalist of Sing Like Talking, and remaining active across pop, soul, and jazz, acclaimed singer-songwriter Chikuzen Sato now brings his artistry to Taipei for a special first-time collaboration with Japan’s soulful band Neighbors Complain—promising a refined, high-caliber live performance.

Since becoming the frontman of Sing Like Talking in 1988, Sato has established an enduring presence with a voice that balances clarity, emotional depth, and expressive power.
Launching his solo career in 1994, he released the celebrated cover series Cornerstones and collaborated with renowned artists such as Kazumasa Oda and Satoru Shionoya (Salt & Sugar), earning widespread acclaim for his cross-genre musical explorations.
In recent years, he has continued to expand his creative horizons through a global project under the name “Joppa Leigh,” demonstrating an ever-evolving musical vision.

Formed in 2014 and based in Osaka, Neighbors Complain is an R&B band deeply rooted in Black music traditions.
Each of the four members brings a distinct personality to the group, weaving together rhythms and textures that define their unmistakable groove—one they continue to refine in pursuit of a sound uniquely their own.
