Performance Introduction

Jeremy Quartus, the vocalist of Nulbarich, will join forces with 鶴 The Crane for a special collaboration in March 2026 at Billboard Live TAIPEI, where R&B collides with each artist’s distinct musical identity in a powerful live performance.

Jeremy Quartus is the solo project officially launched in July 2025 by JQ, the frontman of Nulbarich. Taking on multiple roles including songwriting, composition, arrangement, and production, he has long been influenced by Black culture—particularly hip-hop and R&B. Drawing from these roots, his work pursues a more private, personal, and introspective form of expression.

Led by Jeremy Quartus, Nulbarich—currently on hiatus since December 2025—has been widely recognized for its groove-driven sound born from a beatmaker’s sensibility, combining live instrumentation with sampling. Their music seamlessly blends Japanese and English lyrics with emotive vocals, creating an original sound that is both emotional and pop-oriented.

From their debut, Nulbarich quickly attracted attention, and by their third year held a concert for an audience of over 10,000, selling out all tickets. Beyond the band, Jeremy Quartus is also active as a songwriter, producer, and DJ for other artists. His solid and wide-ranging musical abilities are unmistakable, and anticipation continues to build around what new sounds he will deliver through this project.

Widely regarded as a representative figure of the new generation of Mandarin alternative R&B, 鶴 The Crane fuses soul, hip-hop, alternative rock, and indie pop into a singular style. His creative aesthetic is defined by deep emotional expression, introspection, and a humorous incorporation of subcultural elements. Musically, he is fully self-contained—handling production, songwriting, performance, and vocals—and has been releasing works since 2019. In 2022, his name reached a wider audience through signature tracks such as “Ramen Prince” and “Don’t Mind.”

The Crane’s debut album TALENT was nominated for the Golden Melody Awards for Best New Artist and Best Mandarin Male Singer, and went on to win Best New Artist and Best Rhythm & Blues Album at the Golden Indie Music Awards. As international attention grew and collaboration offers poured in, he released his second album Same Stories, Different Narratives in 2025. Through collaborations with Waa Wei and moon tang, he continues to explore soundscapes that depict love and hatred through allegorical storytelling.

This March, Jeremy Quartus (Nulbarich) × 鶴 The Crane will come together at Billboard Live TAIPEI to deliver a truly special night—one where entirely new souls intersect and resonate on stage.
