Freely roaming between rap and rock, Leo Wang began his musical journey
in his student days with the indie punk band Giant Roar,
later carving out his own hip-hop path through everyday storytelling
rich with rhythm and rhyme.

In 2016, Leo Wang released “陪妳過假日 (Spending the Holiday with You)”
with 9m88, redefining conversations in romantic relationships
with a relaxed, humorous tone.
The song quickly gained widespread popularity
and introduced many listeners to Leo Wang’s unique voice and perspective.

In 2017, Leo Wang formed the duo Yeemao with Chunyan.
Their debut album Health Songs OwO drew immediate attention,
earning a nomination for Best Vocal Group
at the 29th Golden Melody Awards
and winning Best Album at the 9th Golden Indie Music Awards.

His 2018 album Sickly Groans, Tender Ballads blended rich instrumentation,
precise drum patterns, and smooth jazz and funk grooves
that flowed seamlessly with Leo Wang’s vocals.
With this album, Leo Wang won
Best Mandarin Male Singer at the 30th Golden Melody Awards,
becoming the first artist to receive the honor for rap music—
a defining milestone in his career.

In 2025, Leo Wang teamed up with globe-trotting rapper J-Fever
to release the album Letter Songs.
Between 2023 and 2025, the two exchanged letters beginning with
“Hey Leo,” transforming written correspondence into music.
The songs reveal deep friendship, intimate emotions,
and heartfelt self-expression—
like carrier pigeons flying back and forth,
weaving two men’s most honest feelings into melody.

In 2026, Leo Wang will bring J-Fever, Chunyan,
