Winning "Best Hip-Hop Album" at the Golden Indie Music Awards (GIMA) with his album The Fool, and crowned "Best New Artist" at the 36th Golden Melody Awards (GMA)—the name someshiit has become an undeniable landmark in the contemporary hip-hop scene.
His story begins with the legendary demo “那些勸我別抽菸的人都死了,” which quietly sparked a revolution and has now surpassed 5.15 million views. someshiit Sam transforms the trivialities and struggles of urban life into late-night prose that resonates with countless listeners, laying bare life’s inescapable helplessness. This “qing feng fu shan gang”–like resilience also fuels his uniquely balanced bedroom rap, allowing him to break from private spaces into the public eye.
He deconstructs and reconstructs melancholy, Zen sensibility, and explosive energy, creating a style entirely his own within Taiwan’s rap scene. Whether through cross-disciplinary collaborations with 鄭敬儒 of deca joins, Golden Melody Award Best New Artist Hong Pei-Yu, and poet Pan Po-Lin, or by joining forces with his longtime bandmates in a full-band setup, he transforms the stage into a massive laboratory—turning whispers once confined to private spaces into live band sound charged with maximum onstage tension.
